End Of An Era
PSRS was very sad to hear that Southpaw, one of Brooklyn’s premiere rock clubs, was closing its doors for good. Mikey and the crew at Southpaw hosted two of our final concerts for PSRS and we had a blast. Gentrification can be a drag. Check out a video below of one of our bands playing the stage in 2009. RIP!

PSRS BKLYN: Original Music Available to Download!
PSRS puts a lot of emphasis on developing and promoting original music with all of our bands, semester after semester. On January 29th, our fall semester bands hit the Bunker Studio for a lesson on recording techniques and the chance to record their original song. The results are astounding.

PSRS BKLYN: Bunker Studio Recording Session
After a hugely successful final show at Rockwood Stage 2, our Brooklyn students entered the studio to record their original songs from this past semester. The Bunker Studio, a new 3,000 sq ft. recording studio in Williamsburg, was an amazing host for the day. Co-owner Aaron Nevezie was at the helm, giving our students a lesson in how the studio works and getting them to play some great takes....
