We’re just coming off a super successful week in Paris, where two bands spent the last week writing all original music. The week culminated in a great recording session and the results are amazing! Check them out on our Bandcamp page:
Enrollment is now open for our one week Songwriting and Recording Camp in July! This will be our third year offering this camp…our previous sessions have been very popular and very fun. Our students have written some incrediblemusic during the past sessions and the opportunity to record the songs in one of the best studios in NYC is a truly special experience.

We’re still smiling from an awesome final concert in Paris two weeks ago. 7 bands took the stage and wowed a crowd of 300+ eager friends and family. We can’t wait for the next one!

Our Brooklyn bands took the stage on December 16th to show off all their hard work. They sounded awesome! We use this classic video in our classroom all the time. The hats are always a hit with the students, but we think Ginger steals the show.
Now that we have two PSRS programs rocking in two countries, the potential for cross-cultural collaborations are awesome. We even love to dream big about a band exchange program in the future. We had a taste of that experience last week when Max, one of our PSRS Brooklyn students, visited Paris and sat in on one of our classes. Our Paris students loved working with him and the class was amazing. When Max sat down and started playing fresh ideas on one of the band’s original songs, one of our students commented “It’s amazing how people can hear the same song in different ways.” What a fun way to learn such an important lesson.
